2. The effects of trauma are profound. They ripple into the future in unexpected and unpredictable ways. This makes it hard to address, work on, and heal from our trauma.

  1. Trauma is not a destination is so true. it’s a part of us we deal with we need to, other times it’s in the background working itself out. I’m very fortunate to have had love around me as I got older as a teen and a great, two great therapists in my adult years. I miss my therapist so much. it’s been over 2 years. But she’s overwhelmed and I’m not in crisis.
